Cowlitz Free Medical Clinic was created by Community Health Partners in response to the growing number of uninsured and medically under-served adult patients requiring urgent health care in the Cowlitz County region. We serve patients from Cowlitz County as well as neighboring communities. The clinic opened November 8th, 2005 and by December 2012 we had seen over 7,900 visits by patients to the Free Clinic.
Our cheer squads travel with their football team and perform in front of our fans during each game. The season runs August 1 - End of October. In additional to cheering for our teams, our cheer squads are involved in a competitive cheer competition at the end of October. Junior, Pee Wee and up have a chance to advance to Regionals in November and Nationals in December.
The Cowlitz River Club is a mental health recovery center which provides a safe and supportive environment for persons with chronic mental illness. The Club membership and staff work side by side to build supportive relationships, experience meaningful work and learn new skills.
Chemical Dependency Services Offered: Assessments; Intensive Outpatient Treatment; DUI/Deferred Prosecution; Inpatient Referral and Placement; Youth Treatment Services. Please contact us to discuss payment options. We accept most DSHS medical coupons. Fees for outpatient services are waived for Federally recognized Native Americans and Alaskan Natives.
We are a non-profit run club that is dedicated to promoting running as a sport and fitness exercise. The club consists of people of all running abilities; the casual jogger to the serious marathoner. Club Meetings: 1st Tuesday of the Month; 6:30 PM at Stuffy's Restaurant
Cowlitz Volleyball Club (CVC), a member of the Columbia Empire Region of the United States Volleyball Association, is a non-profit organization designed to provide athletes with an opportunity to play competitive volleyball and receive quality coaching. CVC, which was founded in 1980, administers teams in all age divisions (12u/14u/16u/18u), with participation by athletes from Cowlitz County, Washington and surrounding communities. The Club hosts many tournaments. During the Club's history, over 270 CVC athletes have received college volleyball scholarships.
