Parent Resources

We at the Department of Early Learning (DEL) strive to help create safe, healthy nurturing learning experiences for all Washington children. Our work focuses on the earliest years in children's homes, child care, school programs and communities. We offer information and resources for children's first and most important teachers -- parents -- as well as others who care for and teach young children.

We exist to impact our community with the love of Christ. Our Values – Grace, Growth, Group, Gifts, Generosity

We do not have a youth ministry per se at EKBC.  We seek to do as much as possible as a family unit. This does not mean that our Sunday School and some of our Bible Studies are not age graded for maturational and learning level purposes. What this does mean is that our ministry activities, fellowship and recreational activities, though perhaps targeting a particular age group, are done as families.

Providing Services for People with Disabilities and Their Families.  Children and adults with disabilities and other special needs find the highest-quality services designed to meet their individual needs when they come to Easter Seals Washington. Our mission is accomplished through the following core programs and services in Washington state.

The Elochoman Slough Marina is a focus of Wahkiakum County recreational and economic activity.  Boaters from Portland and Vancouver, as well as Ilwaco and Astoria, flock to the Elochoman Slough Marina because of its location,  its historical river town amenities, and the pristine rural character of the surrounding land.

Commercial and recreational fishermen frequent the Elochoman Slough Marina, especially during salmon fishing windows in the spring and the fall.  The marina also offers cabins, recreational vehicle hook-ups and dry land camping.

Our mission is to end sexual and domestic violence while providing education, safety, and support to our community.

~~WELCOME... Welcome home, that is. It’s not by accident that you are here. And it won’t take you long to discover that we at Emmanuel Lutheran Church are truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. We aim to help each other succeed in the journey of life. We are real people worshiping a real God. We serve, we laugh, we cry, we worship, we learn, and we hope to reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too, and we’re eager to know you.
