Summit Ski Area

Summit is the oldest ski area in the Pacific Northwest, and was the first on Mount Hood. Since our beginnings in 1927, we have continued to provide a safe, family oriented area that is easy to get to, and best of all, extremely affordable. Summit Ski Area, established in 1927, is the second oldest continuous operating ski area in the United States. Summit's base elevation is 4,000 feet and has 306 feet of vertical lift for skiing.
